Hi, I'm Shriyash. (pronounced as SHREE-yush)
I'm a UX and Product designer from India currently pursuing masters in Human-Computer Interaction Design at Indiana University Bloomington. Recently, I worked as a UX Design intern at Ansys.
Prior to this, I worked as a UX designer for 3 years
in a range of professional environments (big tech, in-house, freelance, startups, etc.). I've had the opportunity to work on projects related to healthcare, education, e-commerce and mobility. I'm actively looking for full-time UX Design roles starting May 2021.
I consider curiosity as my super power. It knocks the doors of opportunities and keeps me hungry for new challenges. But at the same time I am aware that curiosity can turn into greed and make me feel overwhelmed. Design aligns my curiosity with intentional execution to translate intangible ideas into tangible, meaningful and elegant outcomes to solve complex real world challenges. I get in the 'flow state' when it comes to creativity and crafting.
Bringing the best of both engineering and data analytics worlds, I find User Experience Design the most fulfilling and rewarding sweet spot with its overlap with business, technology and psychology. It weaves my diverse interests, experiments and skills to make it a coherent and well-rounded experience as a UX professional. When I'm not glued to my laptop or phone, you can find me:
• Practicing meditation,
• Cooking amateur Indian food,
• Exploring Human-Human Interaction,
• Photography, or
• Playing badminton.
I enjoy listening to the stories that people bring and often find myself connecting the dots between different cultures. ✨
Wait, but what about you? I'd love to hear from you.
