Hi, I'm Shriyash. (pronounced as SHREE-yush)
I'm a product designer from India currently pursuing a master's in Human-Computer Interaction Design at Indiana University Bloomington. Last summer, I worked as a UX Design intern at Ansys.
Before this, I served as a UX designer for 2 years
in a variety of professional environments (corporate, agency/consultancy, startups, freelance) and across diverse digital solutions (web, mobile, tablet, wearables, AR/VR). I've had the privilege and the opportunity to work on projects related to healthcare, education, e-commerce, and mobility. I was recently selected as a finalist for IxDA Student Design Charette
, where I worked on a project to understand how we can use individual data for collective wellbeing. I'm actively looking for full-time UX Design roles starting June 2021.
Different people have different superpowers. Mine is curiosity. It keeps me hungry for new challenges and makes me a lifelong learner. Design fuses my curiosity with intentional problem-solving to transform complex, intangible ideas into tangible, elegant, and impactful outcomes. 'Flow state' comes naturally to me when I am applying my creativity and crafting skills.
Bringing the best of both engineering and data analytics worlds, I find User Experience Design the most fulfilling and rewarding sweet spot with its overlap with business, technology, and human psychology. It tightly knits my diverse interests, experiments, and skills to make it a coherent and well-rounded journey as a UX professional. When I’m not busy designing awesome experience for users, I’m probably
• Practicing meditation,
• Cooking delicious Indian food,
• Exploring Human-Human Interaction,
• Capturing life through my lens, or
• Playing badminton.
I enjoy listening to the stories that people bring and often find myself connecting the dots between different cultures.
Wait, what's your story? I'd love to hear from you.
